截至1998年底,我国累计批准设立外商投资企业32万多家,实际使用外资达2600多亿美元。那么,跨国公司是如何建立这些企业的,换言之,它们以何种方式选择项目和合作伙伴从而进入中国的呢? 第一,参与国家重点项目和技改项目。 80年代末,在国务院领导的直接干预和协调下,11个厂家出资,在大连建立了中国华录。日本松下公司以比较优惠的条件竞争得到这个项目。1994年,这个项目从技术合作发展为合资,成立了中国华录松下录像机有限公司。
By the end of 1998, China had approved the establishment of more than 320,000 foreign-invested enterprises and actually utilized more than 260 billion U.S. dollars. How do multinational corporations establish these enterprises? In other words, how do they choose their projects and partners to enter China? First, to participate in national key projects and technological transformation projects. In the late 1980s, with the direct intervention and coordination under the leadership of the State Council, 11 factories invested in establishing China Hualu in Dalian. Japan's Matsushita to compete for more favorable conditions to get the project. In 1994, this project developed from a technical cooperation into a joint venture to set up China Hualu Panasonic Video Recorder Co., Ltd.
