Ever since the debut in 1982, the drama series of educated youth has continued as a unique landscape on China’s television screen. They reproduce history, deduce history, reflect on history, but also create a series of vivid characters. However, unlike other TV dramas, the topic of “educated youth”, as a cultural image and historical complex, carries the brand new era since the founding of the People’s Republic.
