The umbilical cord around the neck is one of the most important causes of acute fetal distress in the labor process. In serious cases, the fetus can cause sudden death to the uterus or lead to asphyxia or even death of the newborn. This article summarizes 116 cases of umbilical cord around the neck from January 1998 to December 1998 cases, and take the similar number as a control group for comparative analysis of their prenatal diagnosis and labor process to be discussed. 1 Materials and Methods 116 cases
