Volunteers at the Peace Corps in Africa have had their antibody titers lower than expected after vaccination with three doses of 0.1 ml of human diploid cell rabies vaccine (HDCV) for immunization in the skin. This poor antibody response can not be explained by the vaccine’s low potency or problems with vaccination. We conducted a survey of the same pacifists in Thailand who had been immunized against immunosuppression. The team received three doses of HDCV intradermally on days 0, 7 and 28 of the day after arriving in Thailand, and concurrently received chloroquine and pyrimethamine psoriasis (“ Fansidar ”) to prevent malaria, many people have no medication or irregular medication because of the low risk of malaria in the area where they work. Medication took place concurrently with the first dose of HDCV, but four of them were in Guatemala before coming to Thailand for the month
