一、石文化的演变石文化是一种古老的文化现象。最早,先民对石的认知是从使用的角度开始的,把石作为一种认识大自然、改造大自然的工具,如旧石器时代的砍砸器,新石器时代的石斧、石铲、石犁、石刀、石锛等。中华民族是一个崇尚美德的民族,随着对石的使用和认知,一些质地优美的石种渐渐地从使用的范围里遴选出来,并被付于一种特殊的意义。如玉质的石,或被制成氏族的代表物,成为权力和高贵的象征;或被制成各种装饰品,用来点缀服饰、美化生活,于是,石就进入到政治与文化的范畴。
