有一天,我在一家出版社,与一位编辑谈到“社会主义初级阶段”时说,按理讲社会主义是比资本主义更高的社会形态和历史阶段。这位编辑笑着说,讲是这么讲。言下之意,社会主义只是说说,实际完全是另一回事。大约20天后,我在一家杂志社,与一位编辑谈到“社会主义市场经济”,说了同样的话。这位编辑很认真地说,根本没有“社会主义”的市场经济,“社会主义”就是计划经济,现在已经很少有人再谈论什么社会主义了。 我们不应该让“姓社”和“姓资”的争论禁固自己的头脑和捆绑自己的手脚,更不应该让无休止的争论浪费宝贵的时间。但这不等于否定和放弃社会主义,更不等于说不要进行探索和研究。关于社会主义初级阶段以及理想和现实的问题,使我想起两个著名的传说或神话:“嫦娥奔月”和“愚
