中国空间科学学会空间材料专业委员会于2002年9月6至11日在广西省北海市召开了学术交流及专业委员会工作会议.出席本次会议的代表共有30余人,代表着全国空间材料研究方面的科研、大专院校以及有关公司等十几个单位.本次会议共收到28篇论文,有18篇在会上进行了交流.所有的论文展示了近几年来我国在空间材料研制方向的进展情况:有在空间研究材料的情况,有利用高空飞机失重时来研究材料情况,有研究空间应用的轻型结构件的进展情况;会议中还对未来空间站中空间晶体生长装置提出建议和介绍了未来空间相机用新型轻量化碳化硅反射镜的研制初步进展;会上郭景坤院士提出的金属陶瓷材料研究设想,引起与会人员热烈反响.大会还交流了许多金属、陶瓷、有机基复合材
