我很喜欢木偶片《阿凡提》的人物、布景的造型设计。作者用极其简练、朴素的艺术手法高度概括地表现出人物性格和典型环境。统一、谐调的装饰趣味,给了我美的享受。在极左思潮统治艺术领域的时期,有一条严格的戒律,即所谓不得“丑化正面人物”。即使是以夸张为特征的漫画作品,被夸张的形象,也只能是否定人物。如把工、农、兵或干部来个变形,就可能挨“歪曲”正面人物形象的大棒。在国外普遍受到读者欢迎的漫画人像这一画种,是没法存在的。这条戒律也适用于动画片。当在有人物故事的动画片里出现英雄时,象“样板戏”一样,也总要被处理成竖眉毛、瞪眼睛,挺胸叠肚,粗胳膊粗腿,使人看了感到又硬又僵,片片同样,索然寡味,令人厌烦!粉碎“四人帮”后,人们的思想逐渐从禁锢中解放出来,出现了一些较好的文艺作品与电影,动画片《阿凡提》可算一个。设计者对片中所有人物,甚至一条驴子,都一视同仁地作了大胆夸张的艺术处理。例如阿凡提这个英雄形象,是个大长脸,瘦条个儿,细胳膊细腿,
