五十四年前,国民党省防军第二支队林靖部约三千人驻防福清,纵兵殃民,龙田、高山两镇受害最深。一九三一年十二月二十六日,福清龙、高两镇暴发了规模宏大的农民反暴政武装斗争。打死省防军第二支队官兵七百余人,并把林靖匪军驱逐出福清,震动全省。这一事件,史称“龙高暴动”,或称“龙商事变”、“龙高民变”。
Fifty-four years ago, some 3,000 troops from the second detachment of the Kuomintang Provincial Defense Forces Lin Jing Department stationed in Fuqing City and took soldiers and people everywhere. The two towns of Longtian and Alpine suffered the most. On December 26, 1931, the fierce peasant anti-tyranny armed struggle broke out in Fuqing Long and Gaoliang Townships. Killed more than 700 officers and soldiers of the Second Detachment of the Provincial Defense Forces and expelled Lin Jing’s bandits from Fuqing and shaken the entire province. This incident, known as the “Dragon uprising”, or “Dragon Business Incident”, “Long Gaomin change.”
