Since the implementation of the new mathematics textbook for secondary schools in Shanghai in the second period, there have been many dissatisfied voices. Some of these voices have come from mathematics education experts, and some have come from first-line mathematics teachers. Many of them even think that the high school mathematics textbooks for the first-phase curriculum reform are better than those for the second-phase curriculum reform. In this context, Shanghai Kangshikai Teacher Training Center is based on the “reform is an inevitable trend, the current teaching materials must be constantly improved,” this understanding, declared research topics, from the most difficult part of the reform of high school mathematics textbooks - Starting with solid geometry, comparative study of mathematics textbooks in Germany, the United States, and France, and based on the actual situation of the first-phase curriculum reform and the second-phase curriculum reform of mathematics textbooks, put forward some suggestions for improving the teaching materials. In this issue, we present some of their research results, hoping to draw more thoughts on how to improve and improve current high school mathematics textbooks. We also hope that we can provide some useful ideas for teachers to develop teaching materials in the teaching process.
