真话,即是符合实际的话,实事求是之话,是什么讲什么,直言不讳,坦诚相见。讲真话是为人的最起码品质。而真话正由于不诌媚于人,不失察于事,暴露了事实真相,有些人却觉得不顺耳、不顺心,伤害了自己的利益,便耽耿于怀,闻之暴跳如雷,打击报复。这种行为于事无补,于民不利,于国有害,同我们党的实事求是原则是格格不入的。真情理应得到尊重,而不应遭到非礼。乐于听真话,并不是坏事,而是光明磊落、无私无畏、心怀坦荡的表现。领导干部要达到这种崇高境界实在不易。

However, since the truth is not flattering on the people, they are exposed to the facts and exposed the truth. Some people find it unpleasant, unfriendly and harm their own interests.
