The Book of Filial Piety, one of the thirteen Confucianism, is the first monograph on ethics in our country. It consists of 18 chapters with less than 2,000 words. Although the space is short, it systematically and comprehensively discusses the Confucian idea of “filial piety”, emphasizing that the most basic requirement of filial piety is to support one’s mother and the core is to respect one’s relatives.
