According to recent reports from Nature, the U.S. Department of Energy has started another round of reviews of its research laboratory's decentralized network and will shortly be adjusted. According to the review, U.S. Department of Energy Acting Minister Charles Curtis has ruled out the closure or consolidation of any large laboratory, but he claimed it is possible to consider the seven of its budget of less than 50 million US dollars in the small Laboratory privatization. Curtiss has announced four new reviews of the laboratory network. The network employs more than 50,000 people, ranging from the Los Alamos Nuclear Weapon Laboratory in New Mexico to the Thomas Jefferson Accelerator Laboratory in Virginia. The network owns most of the major physics labs in the United States and has strong expertise in nuclear weapons design, supercomputer use, materials science, and many other major sciences.
