为了探讨中药在抑制哮喘气道变应性炎症中的作用机理 ,采用双抗体夹心ELISA法和逆转录 多聚酶链反应 (RT PCR)检测咳喘落治疗哮喘过程中IL 4、IL 5含量和IL 4mRNA、IL 5mRNA表达水平的变化。结果显示 :哮喘时IL 4、IL 5含量及其基因表达明显增强 ,经咳喘落治疗后 ,其表达和产物显著降低 ,接近于正常水平 (P <0 .0 1)。提示IL 4与IL 5在哮喘发病中起着重要作用 ,咳喘落能够降低IL 4和IL 5基因转录 ,减少两者的生物合成 ,进而抑制嗜酸性粒细胞 (Eos)的聚集、活化 ,从而发挥其抗气道炎症的作用。
