综合算法将廖炯生提出的FTA新途径与富塞尔(Fussell)的下行法相结合,将非相干树分析与相干树分析相协调;并配有数字仿真方法。它既可以分析相干树,又可以分析非相干树;既可以解决稳态问题,又可以解决动态问题;既可以求解最小割集族,又可以求解最小路集族,对于非相干树还可求解完全的质蕴涵族;既可以计算顶事件概率,又可以计算其分布,底事件的结构重要度和概率重要度也可以计算。
