在山东师范大学,我和丈夫已经做了一年的英文教师。在这一年中,我们也利用闲暇时间参观了许多名胜,充分领略了中国的魅力所在:威严的长城,令人惊叹的西安兵马俑,出土的皇陵,孔夫子的故乡,长江三峡,桂林奇观,昆明石林,大连的美景,今日的香港,美丽的颐和园,古老的紫禁城,具有历史意义的天安门,优美的海滨城市,还有让人兴奋的潍坊风筝节。我们痴迷于这些入画的山水和景色,然而,最宝贵的财富,却是在山东济南找到的。在中国这个重要的城市里,我们发现的是人们——中国人——身上特有的热情、善良及执著。我第一次感受到来自陌生人的善良和关心是在我们到达济南后不久。那天,我正站在路边望着川流不息的车辆发愁,因为我实在没有勇气穿过马路。在美国,车辆一般会给行人让路的,可在这儿,情况完全不一样,每个人都可以自由通行, At Shandong Normal University, my husband and I have been teaching English for a year. During this year, we also used our leisure time to visit many famous places and fully appreciated the charm of China: the daring Great Wall, the amazing terracotta warriors and horses of Xi’an, the imperial tombs unearthed, the hometown of Confucius, the Three Gorges of Yangtze River, the wonders of Guilin Kunming, Shilin, the beauty of Dalian, Hong Kong today, the beautiful Summer Palace, the Forbidden City, the historic Tiananmen Square, a beautiful coastal city, as well as the exciting Weifang Kite Festival. We are obsessed with the landscape and scenery of these paintings, however, the most valuable asset was found in Shandong Jinan. In this important city of China, what we find is the unique passion, kindness and dedication of people - Chinese. For the first time, I felt the kindness and concern from strangers shortly after we arrived in Jinan. That day, I was standing on the side of the road watching the endless stream of vehicles worry, because I really have no courage to cross the road. In the United States, where vehicles generally give way to pedestrians, it’s completely different and everyone is free to travel,
