PDA是一种以读者需求为核心的图书采购模式,在美国大学图书馆得到了广泛应用。但其实施过程中面临许多问题,如无法充分利用图书馆员的选书知识和经验、导致馆藏结构失衡、购书经费超支、难以为重点读者群服务及受出版社的限制等。文章提出个性化的PDA采购模式、严格控制书目、采用灵活的经费分配、设置分级选书权限、选择合适的书商、开展读者培训、积极推广、跟踪与评价等解决策略。
PDA is a kind of book purchasing mode based on readers’ needs. It has been widely used in the American University Library. However, there are many problems in its implementation, such as failure to make full use of library book selection knowledge and experience, resulting in unbalanced collection structure, overbooking of books, difficulty in serving key readers and being limited by publishing houses. This article proposes a personalized PDA procurement model, strictly control the bibliography, the use of flexible allocation of funds, set grading selection authority, select the appropriate bookseller, reader training, and actively promote, track and evaluate strategies to solve.
