Changing exam-oriented education into quality education has become a strategic move for China’s primary and secondary education to enter the 21st century with a new attitude. “The key to the implementation of quality education in the classroom, the key to teachers ” has also formed a consensus. So, how to implement quality education in English teaching in middle school? After years of teaching exploration and practice, the author believes that applying the teaching method “guide, read, practice” to the teaching of a text is an overall improvement.
