第一章 总则 第一条 为继承和发展中医学,发挥中医在卫生事业中的作用,适应人民群众医疗卫生保健需求,保障公民健康,促进社会主义现代化建设,根据国家有关法律和法规,结合本省实际,制定本条例。 第二条 本条例适用于本省行政区域内中医医疗、预防、保健、康复、教育、科研等活动。 本条例所称中医系指祖国传统医药,包括中医药、中西医结合和民族医药。
Chapter 1 General Provisions Article 1 In order to inherit and develop TCM, the role of TCM in health undertakings shall be brought into play to adapt to the people’s medical and health care needs, safeguard citizens’ health, and promote socialist modernization, in accordance with the relevant laws and regulations of the Actually, this Regulation is formulated. Article 2 These Regulations shall apply to medical treatment, prevention, health care, rehabilitation, education, scientific research and other activities of Chinese medicine within the administrative area of the province. The term “TCM” as used in these Regulations refers to traditional Chinese medicine in the motherland, including Chinese medicine, combination of traditional Chinese and Western medicine, and ethnic medicine.
