From June to October 1995, a survey was conducted on the quality of disinfection work in 18 county-level hospitals in Baoding City. The effect of pressure steam sterilization was detected with a Bacillus stearothermophilus spore plate. The indoor air was settled by common nutrient agar plates. The total number of bacteria was measured in the delivery room and the general surgical room was ≤200 cfu/m3, and the pediatric ward, dressing room, and injection room were ≤500 cfu/m3.
