虽然这里的X档案不是经典的好莱坞惊悚电视剧,但是2009宝马X之旅也可以称得上是一年一度中国车迷们十分关注的大戏。既然是X之旅,就意味着这是一趟充满未知的旅程,探寻未知,挑战自我,正是此次旅行的意义。2009宝马X之旅的终点站设在“山水甲天下”的桂林,分为东南西北四条线路,起点分别是长沙、贵阳、湛江、珠海。四条线路,每条线路各有10支队伍,每支队伍拥有4名队员。经过5天的比赛,4条线路各有一支队伍胜出并有资格参加总决赛,这4支队伍在桂林进行最后的决赛,最终获胜的一支队伍中的4名队员将获得宝马X3汽车一年的免费使用权。为了能够获得最终的胜利,从全国各地选拔而来的各路好手摩拳擦掌,从四条线路分别出发,向着最终的目的地——桂林前进。赛前没有人知道比赛项目,四条充满未知挑战的比赛线路将等待选手们去征服,虽然无人知晓谁会成为最终的胜利者,但是在旅行中探寻未知便是本次X之旅的最大乐趣。
