在中华谜报社,悬挂着这样两面锦旗:“宏扬中华文化,促进谜学交流”;“虎将雄风”。这是台北市集思谜社和高雄市谜学研究会赠送的。 《中华谜报》原名《中国谜报》,由辽宁省丹东市文联主办,创刊于1985年,是最早发行到台湾的大陆报刊之一。1986年秋,香港谜界的一些热心朋友,将该报转寄到台湾,得到岛内广大谜友的喜爱,纷纷通过大陆的亲友订阅,并通过台北、高雄、台南等地的谜学研究会转递。目前,每期直接发往台湾的就达数千份。 与台湾一些城市的谜学会建立起友好联系后,双方常彼此转载研究文章,交流两岸谜事信息,切磋技艺。《中华谜报》与台北《谜汇》分别开辟专栏介绍对方的谜事活动。《中华谜报》与中国民间文艺家协会在北京举办的中华灯谜艺术研讨会,台湾谜界也派团参加。1992年9月,《中华谜报》与台北《谜汇》联
