1996年7月,我赴美参加 ALA(美国图书馆学会)年会回来,总有一种冲动,想写一写李华伟。李华伟博士1978年任美国俄亥俄大学图书馆馆长兼教育学院教授。在他近40年的图书馆生涯中,曾经发表过60多篇论文、出版了3本书,写过2本会议录,先后担任6种学术期刊的编辑委员。他的《图书馆的世界观》(1991年台湾学生书局出版)、《九十年代图书馆的筹款指引》(与蓝里·博士合著,1992年由美国坚那位公司出版)和《现代化的图书馆管理》(1996年台湾三民书局出版),在图书馆界影响很大。特别是《现代化的图书馆管理》一书,荟集了他几十年来在国内外尤其是在中国大陆讲学的精髓,化了近5年时间才完
July 1996, I went to the United States to participate in ALA (American Library Association) annual meeting back, there is always an impulse to write a written Li Huawei. Dr. Li Hua Wei in 1978 as the Ohio University Library Curator and Professor of Education. During his nearly 40 years of library career, he has published more than 60 papers, published 3 books, wrote 2 conference proceedings, and served as editor of 6 academic journals. His “Worldview of the Library” (Taiwan Student Book Desk, 1991), “Fundraising Guidelines for Libraries in the 1990s” (co-authored with Dr. Blue Ridge and published by the Kenyan firm in 1992), and “Modernization Library Management ”(published by Sanmin Bookstore, Taiwan, 1996), has a great influence on the library industry. In particular, the book “Modern Library Management” has gathered the essence of his decades of teaching both at home and abroad, especially in mainland China. It took nearly five years to complete
