为了扩大知识范围,以及获得实验方面的技巧,本组同志结合教材,有计划的开展了课外活动。讲到克分子溶液时,指导同学配制一定浓度的溶液;讲到氯气时指导同学们制取漂白粉;讲到酒精时就进行酿酒活动;讲到醛类银镜反应,和醣类时,结合进行制镜子与制葡萄糖、人造丝、棉胶、无烟火药等活动。这样不但巩固和扩大了同学们的化学知识,同时增加了对工业生产的基本原理和操作方面的认识,对贯彻基本生产技术教育,具有很大意义。现在我举出几个课外活动的例子来加以说明,以供同志们参考。(一)制取漂白粉:当同学们学习了氯与消石灰作用能产生漂白粉时,为使同学理解漂白粉工业生产的主要工厂设备、生产过程和生产原理,以及它的漂白性质。我们在课外活动小组里进行了制取漂白粉。原料:二氧化锰22克浓盐酸100毫升生石灰35克
