2014年5月16日,国务委员、公安部党委书记、部长郭声琨在北京会见全国公安机关群众工作宣讲团成员,勉励大家弘扬主旋律、传播正能量,用精彩生动的宣讲激励广大公安民警胸怀理想、坚定信念、牢记宗旨、为民奉献,要求各级公安机关和广大公安民警以先进典型为榜样,扎实开展群众路线教育实践活动,着力提升做好新形势下群众工作的能力和水平。
