一、大会概况世界疼痛会议由“国际疼痛研究学会(International Association for the Study of Pain,IASP)发起,每3年举办一次。1984年9月1～5日在美国西雅图举行第4次年会。参加者来自38个国家共1850余人,收集论文摘要668篇。会议的项目分为:(1)大会报告每天2小时,每个演讲人30分钟;(2)小会报告每天2.5小时,在5个分会场同时进行;(3)书面张贴在9个分会场同时进行,包括放映录象片;(4)专题讨论会每天1.5小时,在8个会场同时进行,每个会场有3～5个发言人;(5)晨间讲座,与早餐同时进行;(6)午间讨论,与大会报告人共进午餐,便于提问讨论。以上1～4项自由参加,5～6项需另付款。此外,尚有国际疼痛学会的会务活动穿插进行。
I. Overview of the Conference The World Conference on Pain was initiated every three years by the International Association for the Study of Pain (IASP), and held its fourth annual meeting in Seattle, the United States, from September 1-5, 1984.
