西安事变,又称双十二事变,是当时任职西北剿匪副总司令的张学良和十七路总指挥杨虎城于1936年12月12日,在西安发动的扣留蒋介石事件。目的是“停止剿共,改组政府,出兵抗日”。西安事变最终以蒋介石被迫接受“停止剿共,一致抗日”的主张,促成了第二次国共合作。这是一组西安事变的老照片,有的照片是首次公开。
The Xi’an Incident, also known as the “Twelve Incident”, was the detainment of Chiang Kai-shek in Xi’an on December 12, 1936, by Zhang Xueliang, then deputy commander-in-chief of the Northwest Bandit, and Yang Hucheng, commander of the 17th Road. The purpose is to “stop the suppression of communists, reorganize the government and send troops to fight against Japan.” In the end, the Xi’an Incident was forced by Chiang Kai-shek to accept the idea of “stopping the suppression of the Communist Party of China and uniting against the Japanese” and contributed to the second cooperation between the KMT and the CPC. This is a group of old photos of Xi’an Incident, some photos are for the first time public.
