本市1976~1985年共发生食物中毒435起,发病7108人,死亡24人,年均发病率12. 43/10万,病死率0. 34%。发病率最高是市区17. 80/10万,死亡率最高是郊区和郊县0. 06万/10万;食物中毒各月均有发生,细菌性食物中毒以5~10月为多,占74. 25%;中毒起数及死亡人数以农村散居居首位,中毒人数以集体饭堂最多;中毒食品以植物性和水产品为多;中毒原因主要是自然毒和细菌,其次是化学性等。中毒死因主要是木薯和河豚鱼。
