2004年3月8日,欧莱雅一联合国教科文组织在巴黎正式宣布了“为投身于科学的女性”计划2004年度获奖名单,共有5位女性获得这一奖项。正像联合国教科文组织助理主任弗朗索瓦丝·里维埃所说:“这个奖项证明了女性对科学的贡献是非常巨大的。我相信让公众熟悉这些成功的、让我们引以为豪的女性,会极大地激励女性从事新的职业。”
March 8, 2004, L’Oreal-UNESCO formally announced in Paris, “Women in Science” program winners of the year 2004, a total of five women won the award. As François Riviere, assistant director of UNESCO, put it: “This award proves that women’s contribution to science is huge and I believe that getting the public to know about these successes leads us to think Ho-ho women, will greatly motivate women to engage in new careers. ”
