哈佛大学的C.K Prahalad和Gary Hamel于1990年在《哈佛商业评论》上发表论文《企业的核心竞争力》,首次提出了“核心竞争力”概念。经过理论界和实务界二十多年的探讨,有关“核心竞争力是企业持续竞争优势的源泉”这一命题已被各领域学者广泛认可。在科技发展日新月异,市场竞争空前激烈的今天,企业要想发展,必须建立起自己独特的竞争优势。自2007年以来,金融风暴席卷全球,大量企业陷入财务危机,给国家和社会带来了巨大的损失。企业要想在全球经济低迷的情形下生存乃至盈利,必须合理配置资源,集中培育和提升自己的核心竞争力。本文回顾了企业核心竞争力的概念、总结了我国企业培育核心竞争力的现状,并在此基础上提出了相关建议。
Harvard University’s C.K. Prahalad and Gary Hamel published the paper “Corporate Core Competence” in the Harvard Business Review in 1990. For the first time, the concept of “core competence” was proposed. After more than two decades of discussion in theoretical and practical circles, the proposition that “core competitiveness is the source of sustainable competitive advantage” has been widely recognized by scholars in various fields. With the rapid development of science and technology and unprecedented fierce market competition, enterprises must establish their own unique competitive advantages if they want to develop. Since 2007, the financial turmoil has swept the world, and a large number of companies have been caught in financial crisis, which has brought huge losses to the country and society. If an enterprise wants to survive and even profit in the global economic downturn, it must rationally allocate resources to centralize and enhance its core competitiveness. This article reviews the concept of corporate core competitiveness and summarizes the status quo of China’s enterprises in cultivating core competitiveness. Based on this, it makes relevant recommendations.
