Recently, we have seen the introduction of the technical and economic indicators and the related production operations in the first half of 2011 among the 14 large-scale blast furnaces of 4000m3-5000m3 in China (lack of Baosteel No.1 blast furnace). This article intends to seek the commonalities and characteristics of these very large blast furnaces in their technical operation through the analysis of these data; the gap between them; and the large blast furnace with the smaller
