马桥子街道太平鼓舞是大连市非物质文化遗产保护项目,距今已有200多年历史,多次受邀进京演出,最近一次是2012年10月14日为迎接党的十八大的胜利召开,受辽宁省文化厅、大连市人民政府及大连市创建国家公共文化服务体系示范区领导小组办公室的邀请,参加了“大地情深”国家公共文化服务体系示范区创建城市《扬帆远航》大连市群众文化进京展演活动。多年来,马桥子街道不断推进和发展太平鼓舞,不仅在各个社区中广泛推广太平鼓舞,并先后在小学、中学、大学开设学习
