The Ministry of Education new version of the English curriculum standard (experimental draft) part of the recommendations of teaching emphasis: to promote “task-based ” teaching approach to cultivate students’ ability to use a comprehensive language. Teachers are required to creatively design the teaching activities that are close to the actual students based on the overall goals of the courses and in accordance with the teaching content so as to attract and organize their active participation. Students learn and use English through tasks of thinking, investigation, discussion, communication and cooperation. Exploring and Practicing “Teaching Method of Task” in English Teaching has become our bounden duty of first-line teachers, and I am constantly studying through the ways of “reading, practicing and reflection”
