中国孢粉学会第二届全国会员代表大会暨学术年会于1984年3月6日至10日在履门市召开。来自全国29个省、市、自治区的地质、石油、科学院、高校、海洋、煤炭等系统的近250名孢粉学工作者出席了这次会议,并向大会提交了180篇论文摘要。我国早期从事孢粉形态学研究的王伏雄教授和喻诚鸿教授应邀出席并作了报告。在新的技术革命浪潮中,大会特别安排了电子计算机在孢粉形态鉴定、地层划分以及恢复自然环境等方面应用的学术报告。代表们听取了出国学习人员所作的孢粉实验技术和国际动态的介绍。会议分前寒武纪、古生代,中生代,第三纪、第四纪及现
The Second National Member Congress and Annual Conference of Chinese Pollen Association was held in Port City from March 6 to March 10, 1984. Nearly 250 palynologists from geology, petroleum, academies of science, universities, marine and coal systems in 29 provinces, municipalities and autonomous regions nationwide attended the conference and submitted 180 abstracts to the conference. Professor Wang Fuxiong and Professor Yu Chenghong who were engaged in the study of sporopollen morphology early in our country were invited to attend and make a report. In the new wave of technological revolution, the conference specially arranged academic reports on the application of computer in sporopollen morphological identification, stratigraphic division and restoration of natural environment. The delegates listened to the spore-polling experimental techniques and international developments introduced by the study abroad students.
