1972年-1979年10月在部队曾任排长的共产党员张新丰,转业到大埔县大埔角公社任团委副书记,后调任大埔县国土局监察股股长。1997年他45岁,带头响应县委、县政府《鼓励党政机关干部职工带头参与农业开发的决定》的号召,承包距县城8公里的处女地桂竹窠3000亩山地28年的使用权。他用科学规划开塘、种果、插花、种植药材、养禽畜,干得红红火火,成效显著,成为干部职工参与农业开发的典范人物。
From 1972 to October 1979, Zhang Xinfeng, a former Communist Party member in the army, was rehired to the deputy secretary of the Communist Youth League at Tai Po Kok commune in Tai Po County before being transferred to the chief of the supervision department of the Dapu County Land Resources Bureau. In 1997, he was 45 years old and took the lead in responding to the call of the county government and “encouraging cadres and workers in party and government organs to take the lead in agricultural development.” He contracted for 28 years the right to use 3000 mu of mountain Guizhuju, 8 kilometers from the county seat. He used scientific planning to open ponds, plant fruits, flower arrangements, plant medicinal herbs and raise livestock and poultry. He has done a good job in becoming a model worker for cadres and workers in agricultural development.
