黄锡璆博士祖籍广东梅县,1941年5月19日出生于印度尼西亚,1957年归国,1959年考入南京工学院(现东南大学)建筑系,1964年毕业后分配至中国中元国际工程公司(原机械工业部设计研究院)工作至今,历任建筑师、高级建筑师,总建筑师,2000年被评为全国设计大师。1984年考取公派赴比利时卢汶大学人居研究中心,获博士学位。1988年归国后,长期从事医疗设施规划设计研究,先后主持百余项医院工程项目设计,发表论文近50篇,主持或参编相关规范及建筑资料集等多部图集,为我国的医院建筑设计做出了杰出贡献。2012年12月,黄锡璆博士荣获第六届梁思成建筑奖,可谓是实至名归。
Dr. Huang was born in Meixian, Guangdong Province on May 19, 1941, and returned to Indonesia in 1957. He returned to China in 1957 and was admitted to Nanjing University of Technology (now Southeast University) in 1959. After graduation, he was assigned to China Zhongyuan International Engineering Co., Ltd. (formerly Machinery Ministry of Industry Design and Research Institute) work so far, served as architects, senior architects, chief architect, 2000 was named the National Design Master. In 1984, he was sent to the Institute of Human Settlements, University of Luevan, Belgium, for a doctorate. After returning to China in 1988, he has been engaged in the planning and design of medical facilities for a long time. He has successively presided over over 100 hospital project design projects, published nearly 50 papers, presided over or participated in relevant norms and building data sets, and many other atlas for our hospitals Architectural design has made outstanding contributions. In December 2012, Dr Wong Tin-kwan won the Sixth LIANG Si-cheng Architectural Award, which is deserved.
