利用高功率密度激光束在铬钼铜合金铸铁活塞环外圆表面进行2~3次熔化凝固处理,产生2~3道硬化带,再经喷丸、衍磨、浸油等工艺,即可装机。激光熔化凝固处理的东风型10L207E 柴油机及16V280柴油机活塞环,经磨损试验及装机运行21万公里考核证明,铬钼铜合金铸铁激光环的耐磨性、抗腐蚀性显著提高,尤其是对钒钛铸铁缸套磨损更少,使用寿命延长一倍以上。激光环与钒钛铸铁缸套是较理想的一对摩擦副。
