1994年中共中央印发《爱国主义教育实施纲要》后,中共福建省委印发了《福建省贯彻<爱国主义教育实施纲要>总体规划》,对设立爱国主义教育基地提出了明确的要求,中共福建省委宣传部于1995年、1997年、2001年、2003年分四批公布了省级爱国主义教育基地49个,目前全省共有市级以上爱国主义教育基地209个。这些基地在对广大群众进行爱国、爱党、爱社会主义教育,进一步振奋精神、凝聚力量方面发挥了不可替代的重要作用。同时我们也注意到在开展爱国主义教育基地建设工作中还存在许多困难和问题,制约着爱国主义教育基地建设的步伐,与我省改革开放的形势,与经济建设和社会事业发展相比还有一定的差距。近两年,省政协文史资料委
