本文拟通过对莎剧与邵剧的比较分析 ,揭示两位剧作家在不违背克娄巴特拉这一历史故事的基本情节和人物关系的情况下 ,却能游刃有余地在有限的运笔空间中 ,依存各自所处的文化语境 ,从民族主义的立场对同一人物性格做出了符合本国文化需求的逻辑性诠释 ,令历史人物克娄巴特拉的性格呈现出多棱性。同时 ,也显示出两位剧作家面临不同文化处境的心态和文本策略 ,使其文本承载着有利于本国文化语境的语码符号和意义增殖功能。
This article intends to analyze Shakespeare and Shaoju through the comparison and reveals that the two dramatists, without violating the basic plots and characters of the historical story of Cleopatra, Depending on the cultural context in which they live, from the standpoint of nationalism, they made logical interpretations of the same person’s character in line with their own cultural needs, thus revealing the character of the historical figure Cleopatra. At the same time, it also shows that the two playwrights face the mentality and text strategy of different cultural situations so that their texts bear the code symbols and the sense of proliferation that are beneficial to their own cultural context.
