老界岭自然保护区位于河南省南阳地区西峡县的最北缘,伏牛山的南坡。这个保护区总面积13018.2公顷,境内最高峰——摩云垛尖海拔2075米。1982年河南省政府批准建立,属于省级自然保护区,现由西峡县林业局所辖的黑烟镇林场经营管理。老界岭自然保护区地处北亚热带与南暖温带交界的过渡地带。南北及东西植物在此交汇,植物区系以华北及华中植物区系成分为主,兼有分属东北、西北及华东、西南等成分。该区共有维管束植物约170个科,391属2300多种。植被特点主要为以山毛榉科为主的落叶阔叶林和针阔混交林(华山松
Old Ridge Nature Reserve is located in Nanyang, Henan Province, Xixia County, the northernmost edge of the southern slope of Funiu Mountain. The total area of 13018.2 hectares of the protected area, the highest peak - Mount clouds 2075 meters above sea level.
