Aptamers have a wide range of applications because of their high affinity and strong specificity for binding to target molecules. In recent years, most studies on aptamer function have focused on molecular and cellular levels. To apply aptamers to clinical treatment, we must further study the function of aptamers in animals and in vivo. This article reviews the aptamers that are already in animal experiments or clinical trials
