王培昆,1957年生于天津,祖籍山东省威海文登市。1977年参军;1980年从部队复员,在天津市少年宫任教师;1983年调入天津法制报社任美术编辑,发表过几千幅漫画、插图,出版过三本连环画册;1987年作品参加第七届全国美展;2000年获“名士杯”全国书画大赛佳作奖,同年又获首届“吴道子”基金会美术大赛精品奖。1999年开始专职绘画;2000年进修于北京画院;2002年北京电视台播出专题采访;2003年8月应北戴河美术馆邀请举办“北京名画家书画展”;2004年5月参加由中国公共关系协会艺术委员会、仁和美术馆联合举办“2004年首都优秀中青年画家精品展”;2011年获“第三届亚洲艺术节优秀作品奖”。现为北京东城美术家协会理事、秦皇岛画院特聘画师、北京道教画院艺术委员、灵湖书画院执行院长。其作品《便宜坊》长卷被人民大会堂永久收藏。
Wang Peikun, born in 1957 in Tianjin, is native of Weihai, Shandong Province. He joined the army in 1977, demobilized from the army in 1980, and was a teacher at the Children’s Palace in Tianjin. In 1983, he was commissioned as an art editor in the Tianjin Legal Newspaper Press. He published several thousand cartoons, illustrations and published three comic books. In 1987, The National Art Exhibition; In 2000 won the “Famous Cup ” national painting and calligraphy contest masterpiece award, the same year won the first “Wu Daozi ” Foundation Art Competition Excellence Award. In 1999, he specialized in painting; in 2000, he studied in Beijing Art Academy; in 2002, Beijing Television broadcast a special interview; in August 2003, he invited Beidaihe Art Museum to hold “Beijing famous painter and calligraphy exhibition”; in May 2004, Association of Art Committee, Renhe Art Museum jointly organized the “2004 Outstanding Young Artists Exhibition of the Capital” In 2011, won the “third Asia Arts Festival Award for outstanding works ”. He is currently the director of Beijing Dongcheng Artists Association, the chief painter of Qinhuangdao Art Academy, the artistic member of Beijing Taoist Art Academy, and the executive director of Linghu Painting and Calligraphy Institute. Its work “Cheap Square” long scroll was permanent collection by the Great Hall of the People.
