The 60th Annual Meeting of the American Seismological Society of East China was held on October 12-14, 1988 at Penn State University in the United States. The conference is divided into seven topics: ① New York-New England earthquake test; ② Regional seismic wave propagation; ③ Seismotectonics; ④ Lithosphere heterogeneity; ⑤ Seismic wave propagation in inhomogeneous medium; ⑥ Seismicity and earthquakes Taiwan network; ⑦ earthquake risk, strong ground movement and site impact.
