我县属暖温带南缘半湿润季风气候,温光资源丰富,常年从2月13日至12月14日305天日平均气温在0℃以上,其间积温5155℃,日照2071小时。为了充分利用自然资源,解决好人多地少,粮、棉、菜争地的矛盾,近几年我们在试验示范基础上大面积推广了棉田间套插种越冬及早春蔬菜,取得了明显的效益。间套田亩产皮棉一般为70～80公斤,较一熟春棉亩减产5％以内,亩净增收约150元,增收50％左右,套种较好的田块亩纯收入达千元以上。
