油树(Cornus walteri Wangerin),又名车梁木,分布广,适应性强,是我国北方地区木本油料树种之一。由于它种子含有油脂,种皮坚硬,透水通气性差,播种育苗往往当年不能发芽出土,影响植树造林的发展。1973年,我们在我所南五台试验站用沙藏1年(1971年11月——1972年11月)的种子进行育苗试验。通过试验和观察,初步肯定沙藏种子,不仅发芽早,出土快,发芽率高,而且成苗 Oil tree (Cornus walteri Wangerin), also known as car beam wood, widely distributed, adaptable, is one of the woody oil tree species in northern China.
