2005年11月20—21日,民政部主办的首届中华慈善大会在北京举行。本次慈善大会的目的,是贯彻落实中国政府提出的发展慈善事业、构建和谐社会的精神,呼应社会各界关于发展慈善事业的强烈愿望,探索中国慈善事业的未来发展。会议以“携手慈善、共创和谐”为主题,内容包括表彰“中华慈善奖”获得者、举办NGO学术论坛、举行慈善事业发展成果展示及相关慈善活动、发布《中华慈善事业发展指导纲要》等,这是新中国成立以来
From November 20 to November 21, 2005, the first China Charity Conference hosted by the Ministry of Civil Affairs was held in Beijing. The purpose of this charity event is to implement the spirit put forward by the Chinese government in developing charity and building a harmonious society, echoing the strong desire of all walks of life for charity development and exploring the future development of charity in China. The theme of the conference is “To Join Hands with Charity to Create Harmony” as its theme, which includes awarding recipients of “China Charity Award”, holding NGO academic forums, presenting philanthropy development achievements and related charity activities, and launching “China Philanthropy Development Guidance Outline ”and so on, which is the founding of New China
