September 25 At 0:12 p.m. the White House press secretary held a press conference and officially released Eisenhower’s ill-advised bulletin: After a doctor’s and expert’s consultations, he got a heart attack-coronary thrombosis. According to Dr. White, a cardiologist who came to Denver for consultation, the condition is “neither light nor heavy.” Despite the well-written words in the concise communiqués, concerns, concerns, speculations, uneasiness and the activities and stories of American politicians from all walks of life are woven into a tense and chaotic picture. As a re-elected U.S. president, it is understandable that Eisenhower’s condition has aroused the concern and attention of many people. However, it is noteworthy that fluctuations and chaos are the cause. Eisenhower is now recovering and has begun to spend some of its time managing government. However, some of the circumstances arising from his illness have shown that some of the political and economic developments in the United States, although piecemeal, are worth knowing and worth exploring.
