在新千年、新世纪的开局之年,江苏省委、省政府在江苏张家港市召开全省乡镇企业工作会议,当会议组织的参观车队驶入长江村广阔的滨江大道,映入人们眼帘的是:宛如棋盘的别墅群落、装潢高档的三星宾馆、高大明亮的现代厂房、热闹非凡的商贸中心……。当400多名与会代表走进长江村、感受长江村以后,无不赞扬长江村的掌舵人、村党委书记、江苏长江润发集团董事长,总经理郁全和。敢于开拓、善于创新、乐于奉献的老郁是省劳模,在这次会议上,江苏省委、省政府授予他优秀乡镇企业家光荣称号。
