档案是党和国家的宝贵财富。档案的形成、保护、利用涉及社会各行各业,具有广泛的社会性。档案工作是一项很重要的事业,是社会主义现代化建设、进行各项工作的必要条件。做好档案工作,不仅是当前工作的需要,而且是维护党和国家历史真实面貌的重要事业。因此,档案立法,具有重要的现实意义与深远的历史意义。《中华人民共和国档案法》的颁布,标志着我国档案事业开始走上依法建设的新阶段。
File is a valuable asset for the party and the country. The formation, protection and utilization of archives involve a wide range of social issues in all walks of life. Archives work is an important undertaking, a necessary condition for the socialist modernization and various tasks. To do a good job of archives work is not only the need of the current work, but also an important undertaking for safeguarding the true history of the party and state history. Therefore, file legislation has important practical significance and far-reaching historical significance. The promulgation of the “Archives Law of the People’s Republic of China” marks the beginning of a new phase of building the archives by law in our country.
