兴趣是度过余暇时间的有趣方式,是学习或钻研一定事情的自我活动。兴趣是最好的老师,学习英语的兴趣是学生在英语学习活动中的一种积极情绪表现。学习有兴趣,就有动力,才有快乐。孔子说:“知之者不如好之者,好之者不如乐之者。”论述了兴趣是入门的向导,是成功的动力。有了浓厚的兴趣,不仅能够使大脑处于积极兴奋的状态,能够积极地提出问题、研究问题,创造性地进行学习,而且能够使学生心理活动集中于学习的对象上,使他们理解迅速,记忆更加牢固。
